genesis

for the past year I have been visiting the beach near my house. about two blocks walk and then down a staircase on the face of a bluff, then on to the beach. everyday in the summer for the most part and on the weekends during the year. i'll spend about 2 or three hours down there just milling about. it has become for me an alternative studio away from my studio., where i become a sculptor rather than a painter.
